Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Underwriting to lead their underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop three underwriting teams in alignment with company guidelines
• Analyze medical, non-medical, and financial data to assess risks on applications
• Maintain relationships with third-party data providers and collaborate with insurance partners

Required Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of people leadership experience
• 10+ years of life insurance underwriting experience at a leading carrier or reinsurer
• Experience in developing underwriting guidelines and programs
• Demonstrated interest in innovation within the insurance sector
• Experience with accelerated underwriting and third-party evidence providers is a plus
