Director of Utility Partnerships

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Utility Partnerships focused on driving business growth with regulated utilities across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own a pipeline of sales opportunities, managing all stages from deal origination to contract negotiation
• Engage in various business development activities, including sales, marketing, and regulatory strategy, to create new revenue opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at regulated utilities, including C-level executives and department directors

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, primarily with regulated utilities
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
• Fluency in selling products and services related to Virtual Power Plants, Demand Response, and Distributed Energy Resources
• Experience with data centers, renewables, and battery storage is a plus
• Regional expertise in selling into the Southwest or West is advantageous
