Director of UX Research

Job Summary

Leading the UX research function, the full-time Director of UX Research will define research strategies, partner cross-functionally with teams, and execute various research methods to enhance product design, all while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity near Santa Ana or Jersey City.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the UX research roadmap to influence company-level decisions
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to integrate insights into decision-making
• Conduct and guide team members in generative, formative, and summative research to support product development

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in user research, preferably in consumer technology or collectibles
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Proven track record of impactful research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex problems into clear research questions
• Experience with AI tools and a willingness to experiment with new research technologies
