Director of Valuation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Valuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and sign off on transfer tax valuations and minority LP/LLC interest appraisals
• Develop defensible support for DLOC and DLOM conclusions and oversee engagement execution
• Train and mentor analysts while building and enforcing quality standards and workflows

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in business valuation with significant experience in gift and estate/transfer tax work
• Proven track record of leading engagements and reviewing valuation models and reports
• Deep experience with transfer tax valuations and minority interest appraisals
• Strong command of various valuation approaches and advanced Excel modeling skills
• Preferred credentials include ASA, CPA/ABV, or CVA (or equivalent)
