Director of Value-Based Programs

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of value-based contracts, the full-time Director of Value-Based Programs will manage a team responsible for developing strategies that enhance financial performance and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to improve existing value-based initiatives and identify new opportunities for risk adjustment revenue
• Collaborate with health plan leadership to establish value-based care contracts and set annual performance targets
• Develop and maintain internal dashboards for monitoring value-based programs and present performance metrics to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of managed care experience, including value-based programs, or equivalent education and experience
• A minimum of 3 years in management or leadership roles
• Experience in designing and implementing value-based programs for Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Marketplace
• Knowledge of risk adjustment models, quality metrics, and financial reporting in healthcare
• Proven ability to innovate and manage complex processes across multiple functional areas
