Director of Vendor Management

Job Summary

Leading the vendor strategy for a national 6,000-store remodel program, the full-time remote Director of Vendor Management will manage supplier onboarding, performance, and cost control across a high-volume vendor landscape while utilizing advanced analytics and Excel modeling to ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vendor management strategy, segmenting suppliers by trade, region, and risk while building a qualified vendor network
• Manage high-volume vendor operations, ensuring consistent onboarding and compliance across thousands of active work orders
• Design and maintain advanced Excel models for vendor performance and cost analysis, consolidating data for executive reporting

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive vendor management or procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing a high-volume vendor portfolio in a large multi-site program
• Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced formulas and large-dataset management
• Demonstrated success in negotiating master service agreements and rate cards across multiple categories
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
