Director of Veterans Health Programs

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Veterans Programs to lead the strategy for serving Veterans in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a strategic plan to serve Veterans and engage with the VA for potential partnerships
• Build and sustain relationships with Veteran Service Organizations to enhance credibility and outreach
• Develop clinical protocols and operational workflows to ensure exceptional care navigation for Veterans

Required Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with Veterans healthcare and VA's community care programs
• Track record of building programs and partnerships in complex federal healthcare environments
• Previous leadership experience in the VA healthcare system or a relevant clinical background
• Experience working with Veteran Service Organizations or similar organizations dedicated to serving Veterans
• Familiarity with TRICARE, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage in relation to VA benefits
