Job Summary
Overseeing the workers' compensation program, the full-time Director of Workers' Compensation will manage injury prevention, claim reporting, and compliance while working remotely and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance safety initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the workers' compensation program, including injury prevention and claim reporting
- Analyze trends in workers' compensation and implement safety initiatives in partnership with HR and Operations
- Ensure compliance with state workers' compensation laws and manage fleet safety programs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Safety, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in workers' compensation, safety, or insurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in workers' compensation and fleet safety within healthcare or senior living environments
- Demonstrated ability to analyze claims data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with claims or HRIS systems is a plus
