Job Summary
To advance workforce funding and partnership strategies, the full-time salaried Director of Workforce Development will design and implement initiatives to secure student tuition assistance while aligning education with labor market needs in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a workforce board and partner development strategy, including research methods and outcome expectations
- Serve as a primary community contact to align educational output with local workforce needs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with government agencies, funding sources, and industry partners to report on investment impacts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in workforce agency, workforce funding, or grant writing
- Proven success in identifying, writing, and securing competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and grants
- Experience in a non-profit school organization or higher education system with knowledge of tuition assistance structures
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships within local industries or community leaders
