Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director, Provider Contracts for Value Based Contracts in Nevada, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage provider contracting functions and team members, leading negotiations with the Complex Provider Community
- Develop and implement standardized provider contracts, contracting strategies, and Alternative Payment Method contracts
- Oversee network adequacy, achieve annual savings through re-contracting initiatives, and maintain provider contract templates
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years' experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care, and Provider Contracting, including 2+ years in a leadership position
- 5+ years' experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting, including VBP models
- Working knowledge of managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies across Medicaid and Medicare lines of business
- 2+ years' experience managing/supervising employees
