Job Summary

Serving as a client liaison with local SSA District Offices, the full-time remote Disability Advocate II will manage a caseload of claimants, track claims through the disability determination process, and assist in training new staff while ensuring timely completion of SSA forms and appeals.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of 125 - 175 claimants, tracking and monitoring referrals and claims status
  • Complete SSA forms for application and appeal processes, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their claims and assist in gathering necessary documentation
Required qualifications
  • Some college education or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Substantive knowledge of the Social Security application process and disability analysis
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and manage a systematic workflow
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
