Job Summary
A company is looking for a Disability Advocate Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage eligibility determination for SSI/SSDI candidates and ensure proper completion of federal documentation
- Provide advocacy and support to individuals, ensuring accurate eligibility assessments and maintaining productive relationships
- Train and coach team members while tracking performance and escalating claims as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
- Intermediate computer skills, including data entry and MS Office applications
- Understanding of medical terminology and Social Security regulations related to disability benefits
- Ability to navigate third-party software for tracking and reporting eligibility
- Bilingual skills, particularly in English/Spanish, are desirable
