Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability Advocate Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage eligibility determination for SSI/SSDI candidates and ensure proper completion of federal documentation
  • Provide advocacy and support to individuals, ensuring accurate eligibility assessments and maintaining productive relationships
  • Train and coach team members while tracking performance and escalating claims as necessary


Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills, including data entry and MS Office applications
  • Understanding of medical terminology and Social Security regulations related to disability benefits
  • Ability to navigate third-party software for tracking and reporting eligibility
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in English/Spanish, are desirable
