Disability Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Disability Claims Analyst will secure and analyze long-term disability claim information to make and approve decisions and payments while providing responsive customer service to claimants and policyholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze medical, occupational, and policy information to determine LTD eligibility and resolve discrepancies
• Make and communicate disability decisions, issue accurate benefits, and manage claims with appropriate strategies
• Monitor ongoing medical updates and vocational factors to drive timely claim resolution

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum eighteen months of progressively responsible experience in disability claims administration
• 5+ years of progressive experience in LTD claims is highly preferred
• Ability to analyze and apply medical, technical, contractual, and legal information
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws affecting claims
