Disability Claims Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability Claims Appeal & Complaints Analyst (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex insurance claims disputes, including handling appeals for Disability (STD, LTD, Leave) products
• Review adverse claim decisions to determine their appropriateness and provide feedback on claim handling
• Respond to regulatory and presidential complaints and ensure compliance with applicable standards

Required Qualifications

• Prior claim handling experience in fully and self-insured STD, LTD, and State Leave lines of business
• Experience in handling appeals, including decision letter writing
• Experience in managing complaints, including regulatory and presidential complaints
• Ability to review and interpret contracts
• Proficiency in letter writing
