Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability Claims QA specializing in Long Term Disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the quality of physician reports to ensure compliance with client and jurisdictional standards
  • Verify claims support for physicians' determinations in long-term disability cases
  • Provide customer service and oversight for complex long-term disability cases requiring additional review
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
  • Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of claims experience, with disability experience required
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
  • Must work with a sense of urgency and be self-motivated
  • Proficiency in navigating various computer programs
