Job Summary
A company is looking for a Disability Support Specialist to assist individuals in navigating the Social Security Disability benefits application process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Disability staff, including scheduling appointments and data entry
- Field telephone calls and manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain case files and assist with overflow work from Disability Advocates
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accurate typing/data entry at a minimum of 30 wpm
- Familiarity with word processing and database programs
- Ability to follow instructions and organize work systematically
- Willingness to work as part of a team
