Disaster Recovery Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure the department is prepared for critical IT system recovery, the full-time Disaster Recovery Analyst will review and revise disaster and cyber recovery plans, lead recovery efforts, and document processes for applications in both on-prem and public cloud environments, working in a hybrid model from Lakeland, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of IT recovery procedures with enterprise disaster recovery and cyber recovery strategies
• Lead the review and continuous improvement of recovery plans for critical systems across various environments
• Coordinate and execute disaster and cyber recovery testing, validating system resilience and recovery readiness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of modern data center architecture
• Ability to comprehend disaster recovery concepts and develop solutions
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking
• Ability to work after-hours and overnights on an as-needed basis
