Disaster Recovery Consultant
Job Summary
Supporting the "Protect the Core" initiative, the remote Disaster Recovery Consultant will assess current DR readiness, develop Disaster Recovery Plans, and design a standardized DR testing framework for critical business applications on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current DR capabilities and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to develop and update Disaster Recovery Plans
- Design a standardized DR testing methodology and establish a governance framework for testing procedures
- Coordinate with various teams to provide regular status updates and maintain documentation standards across applications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or IT Service Continuity
- Proven experience creating Disaster Recovery Plans for enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience designing and executing DR testing programs
- Strong understanding of RTO/RPO, Business Impact Analysis, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Experience working across application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams
