Job Summary
Compassionate individuals seeking to make a difference will find a seasonal, fully remote opportunity as a Disaster Support Agent, where they will assist callers affected by disasters through inbound phone interactions, providing critical information and connecting them with essential resources.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls to assist individuals and families impacted by natural disasters and emergencies
- Research and provide information on available resources such as shelter, food, and health services
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain readiness to respond during active disaster response periods
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to respond within 1-2 hours of notification during active response periods
- Proficient in using multiple computer applications efficiently
- Experience in handling detailed work with accuracy and speed
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during surge periods
