Job Summary

To support disaster response efforts, the seasonal Disaster Support Agent will assist callers through inbound phone interactions, providing critical information and connecting them with essential resources during emergencies, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls from individuals affected by natural disasters and emergency situations, providing compassionate support and information
  • Research and resolve customer issues using database information and multiple computer applications
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and maintain availability during active disaster response periods
Required qualifications
  • Must reside and be legally able to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Ability to respond within 1-2 hours of notification
  • Proficient in using computer applications and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated empathy and strong documentation skills in high-pressure situations
