Dispatcher for Delivery Operations
Job Summary
Working from home, the full-time Dispatcher for Delivery Operations will coordinate daily delivery routes, monitor fleet activity, and communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries in a high-volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily delivery and pickup operations utilizing routing and dispatch systems
- Monitor fleet activity in real time and proactively resolve service disruptions to maintain delivery commitments
- Communicate effectively with Delivery Management, Operations, Sales, and Customers regarding route status and service updates
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service experience preferred
- Experience in a high volume call center or fast-paced service environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, required
- Strong technical aptitude with business software and data entry (typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred)
