Dispute Selection Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for handling No Surprises Act claims, the full-time remote Dispute Selection Specialist will research claim eligibility, analyze data trends, and respond to Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) notices in the CMS Portal.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) requests in the IDR portal
• Research claims to confirm eligibility according to the No Surprises Act (NSA)
• Close cases based on IDR determinations and assist management with various tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or customer service
• Knowledge of CMS1500 and UB04 Medical Claim Forms and medical coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Experience in billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus
