Dispute Selection Specialist
Job Summary
To support the handling of No Surprises Act claims, the full-time salaried Dispute Selection Specialist will research claims for eligibility, respond to Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) requests, and analyze trends and data, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) requests in the IDR portal
- Research claims to confirm eligibility for handling according to the No Surprises Act (NSA)
- Close cases based on IDR determinations and assist management with various tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare, health insurance, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of CMS1500 and UB04 Medical Claim Forms and medical coding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus
