Disruption Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Disruption Engineer will engage with the Google Threat Intelligence Group to identify and refine disruption opportunities against significant threat actors while analyzing data to support disruption planning and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage across Google Threat Intelligence Group to identify and refine disruption opportunities
• Analyze data to build a comprehensive picture of threat actor infrastructure and tactics
• Support disruption operations by preparing intelligence and drafting abuse notifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling
• 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols
• 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
• 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or conducting technical risk analysis
