Distinguished AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Distinguished AI/ML Engineer, the full-time role will design, build, and deploy AI systems that transform complex mission data into explainable insights, working remotely within secure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and integrate hybrid AI systems combining traditional machine learning, deep learning, and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines
• Lead the full AI/ML lifecycle from data ingestion and feature engineering through deployment and sustainment in secure DoD environments
• Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines to support continuous integration and retraining of AI models

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with 5+ years in designing and deploying scalable AI/ML architectures
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern ML frameworks
• Experience with event-driven data pipelines and deploying AI/ML systems in secure environments
