Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distinguished Architect, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design for the next-generation data platform, including event ingestion, stream processing, and API surface
• Design and deliver real-time data pipelines and establish SLOs for system performance
• Redesign the dimensional cost model for high-cardinality cost attribution and evolve the query layer for scalability

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering with experience in large-scale data platforms
• Proficient with streaming systems like Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark Streaming
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling and materialization strategies
• Hands-on experience with distributed query engines and cloud data warehouses
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and communicating effectively with stakeholders
