Distinguished Data Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the principal technical authority, the full-time Distinguished Data Architect will define and own the enterprise data and integration architecture vision, provide strategic leadership to executive teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives while working in a hybrid environment in Dallas or Austin.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor to executive leadership on data strategy and integration architecture
• Own and evolve the enterprise integration architecture across various systems, establishing standards and governance
• Define and champion the enterprise data governance framework, influencing cross-functional adoption and tooling strategies

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture, integration architecture, or platform architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior role
• Expertise in designing enterprise integrations using iPaaS or middleware platforms
• Deep knowledge of modern data warehousing/lakehouse architectures and Microsoft data platforms
• Experience in defining and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management tools
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
