Distinguished Data Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the principal technical authority, the full-time Distinguished Data Architect will define and own the enterprise-wide data and integration architecture vision, guiding strategic technology decisions and ensuring alignment with business objectives while working onsite in Dallas or Austin.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on data strategy and integration architecture, presenting architectural vision and technology investment recommendations
• Own and evolve the enterprise integration architecture, establishing standards and providing governance for large-scale integration initiatives
• Define the data platform architecture vision using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalable designs that support analytics and product innovation

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture or integration architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture role
• Expertise in designing enterprise integrations using iPaaS or middleware platforms
• Deep knowledge of modern data warehousing/lakehouse architectures and Microsoft data platforms
• Experience in defining and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management tools
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
