Distinguished Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating in a full-time capacity, the Distinguished Engineer will design and implement software solutions, contribute to solution design ideation, and adhere to Agile methodologies while working remotely from any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Participates in Agile transformation and collaborates with teammates on solution design
• Designs and develops scalable software applications and components to meet strategic business goals
• Employs industry best practices to ensure software quality and security throughout the development process

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• Four years of experience in software development, including creating reusable custom frameworks
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring technology stack, including SpringBoot and Spring Cloud
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and creating Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka and REST/SOAP web services development
