Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Distributed Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will build scalable, data-driven services for internal and external applications, focusing on large-scale real-time services and productionizing prototypes into reliable tools.
Key responsibilities
- Develop large-scale, real-time services leveraging massive datasets for internal APIs and external applications
- Build tooling, libraries, and frameworks that support security, research, and data platform initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to plan and implement effective solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in building distributed systems
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, specifically in Go
- Experience with at least one cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with message queue technologies like AWS Kinesis, Google Pub/Sub, or Kafka
- Understanding of core distributed systems concepts, including scalability and fault tolerance
