Job Summary
Managing day-to-day operations and long-term relationships, the full-time remote Distribution Account Manager will optimize inventory, oversee deal desk operations, and enhance distributor partnerships for an innovative video conferencing manufacturer.
Key responsibilities
- Drive inventory optimization and manage distribution stocking levels, sell-through visibility, and aging/excess management
- Oversee deal desk operations, ensuring accuracy in deal registration, quoting, and pricing approvals while streamlining workflows
- Audit and redesign processes related to inventory, registration, and quoting to eliminate inefficiencies and errors
Required qualifications
- Experience in distribution or two-tier channel management, including inventory and deal desk operations
- Proven ability to balance operational, administrative, and strategic tasks effectively
- Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on accountability for performance metrics
- Ability to analyze business operations while executing detailed tasks
- Strong communication skills for providing concise updates to stakeholders
