Distribution Materials Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Materials Manager to oversee and guide the planning team responsible for dewatering distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of material specialists, ensuring clarity of priorities and workload balance
• Oversee supply planning using Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to manage replenishment schedules
• Serve as the primary liaison between supply planning and various operational teams to ensure alignment and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or related functions; prior leadership experience preferred
• Proficiency with DRP/MRP systems, including tools such as GIM
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
