Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Planning Engineer to assist in the development of a distribution system power flow model for studying the interconnection of generation and storage.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in assessing and analyzing proposed solutions for the integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER)
Develop design solutions and alternatives to mitigate assessment criteria violations
Manage local impact analysis of distribution interconnections on client distribution systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
One year of engineering experience
Experience with power system modeling and simulation software
Familiarity with ASPEN, ETAP, Synergi Electric, PSCAD, and CymeDist9
