Seeking a District of Columbia Licensed CMBS Attorney for a long-term temporary remote contract position, the candidate will manage client-focused legal services related to CMBS lending, including reviewing and negotiating documentation and performing legal research.
Key responsibilities
- Review and negotiate credit and collateral documentation, proposals, and agreements
- Update loan templates and conduct legal research as needed
- Handle multiple projects while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CMBS Lending Attorney, with both law firm and in-house experience preferred
- Experience with secured credit facilities and legal documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
- Meticulous attention to detail in drafting and communication
