District of Columbia Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time, remote District of Columbia Licensed Nurse Practitioner, the GLP-1 Prescriber will conduct telehealth evaluations, prescribe and titrate GLP-1 medications for weight management, and collaborate with a registered dietitian team while managing their own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
• Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications under independent prescriptive authority
• Manage follow-up visits and clinical documentation, including Letters of Medical Necessity for prior authorizations

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and current ANCC or AANP board certification
• Active licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states, with preference for those granting full independent practice authority
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience managing obesity or related conditions
• Comfort with remote clinical practice and proficiency in EHR platforms
• Active NPI and professional liability insurance covering telehealth NP encounters
