Job Summary
To drive sales and customer satisfaction in a remote capacity, the full-time District Sales Manager will develop strategic plans, provide technical support, and collaborate with internal teams while covering the sales territory of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new customers and expand existing business
- Provide technical support and training to customers, distributors, and representatives to enhance sales volume
- Collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and manage product installations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales or customer-facing technical roles, preferably with rotating equipment
- Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in technical sales
- Strong understanding of mechanical applications and equipment reliability principles
- Self-starter with the ability to independently manage a sales territory
- Demonstrated competency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
