Job Summary
Supporting major initiatives within the School and District Transformation Team, the part-time District Transformation Specialist will engage stakeholders, facilitate accountability work groups, and lead professional development efforts to enhance resources and strategic initiatives for high-need schools and districts in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders to gather feedback on accountability systems and guide the group toward consensus
- Lead professional development sessions at conferences and collaborate with various units to provide technical assistance
- Contribute to special projects related to district improvement strategies and attend relevant meetings and events
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in education from an accredited institution
- At least seven years of experience leading district improvement efforts, including five years in senior leadership
- Experience supporting a school identified on the accountability clock for a minimum of three years
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Understanding of the Colorado accountability context
