Division I Track Mentor

Job Summary

To support the development of student-athletes, the part-time D1 Track Youth Mentor will provide academic guidance and sports mentorship through video sessions, leveraging a Division I track background to foster focus, accountability, and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students through their academic day, maintaining focus and facilitating their learning progress
• Mentor student-athletes on training, competition, and balancing academics with sports using Division I track experience
• Communicate with parents and staff, providing updates on academic performance and athletic development

Required qualifications

• Division I track background with competitive experience
• Experience working with youth in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles
• Ability to build trust and provide constructive feedback to young athletes
• Strong communication skills for one-on-one video sessions and written updates
• Reliable and organized, with a suitable remote setup for video sessions
