DME Order Processing Representative

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the part-time DME Order Processing Representative will support the intake, verification, and processing of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders remotely, ensuring timely and accurate service while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process patient orders, prescriptions, medical records, and insurance information
• Verify patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and authorization requirements
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance carriers to obtain required documentation and resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a medical office or healthcare administration
• Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience involving patient interaction
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity
