DME Referral Care Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DME Referral Care Coordinator to support a high-volume referral coordination team for durable medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage DME referrals, ensuring timely authorization and delivery updates to referral sources and patients
• Provide accurate pricing to the Billing Department and expand the list of DME providers for competitive pricing
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient information flow and respond to inquiries within established policies

Required Qualifications

• Some college credit and/or experience in a related discipline
• At least one year of related experience in healthcare, DME, insurance, or physician practice
• Knowledge of medical terminology and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and protect patient rights
• Willingness to cooperate and work collaboratively with co-workers
