DME Referral Care Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DME Referral Care Coordinator to support a referral coordination team focused on durable medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive DME referrals, ensure written authorization, and provide updates to referral sources and patients
• Provide accurate pricing to the Billing Department and expand the list of DME providers
• Coordinate tasks with internal teams and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Some college credit and/or experience in a related discipline
• At least one year of related experience in healthcare, DME, insurance, or physician practice
• Maintain confidentiality of data, including Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and Quality Assurance initiatives
• Ability to work well with co-workers and complete job duties with minimal supervision
