Job Summary
To ensure accurate tracking of critical deadlines and filing requirements, the full-time remote Docket Specialist will manage the firm's docketing system, support attorneys and paralegals, and maintain the calendaring database across various litigation matters.
Key responsibilities:
- Support attorneys and paralegals in tracking deadlines for litigation matters
- Maintain and update the calendaring database, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional rules
- Prepare and electronically file time-sensitive legal documents with state and federal courts
Required qualifications:
- Knowledge of state and federal court procedures, particularly in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, Florida, and California
- 2+ years of litigation docketing experience at a law firm
- Proficiency in the federal courts' CM/ECF system and assorted state court filing systems
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college preferred
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
