Documentation Engineer
Job Summary
As part of the Developer Relations team, the full-time Documentation Engineer will manage and update documentation on docs.mapbox.com, ensuring accuracy and usability while collaborating with product teams and utilizing coding skills in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Make routine updates to documentation, correcting errors and syncing content with product changes
- Triage user feedback on documentation and collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues
- Manage git/GitHub workflows for documentation contributions, including branching and pull requests
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience in web development
- Proficiency with git/GitHub workflows, markdown/MDX, and React.js
- Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience using web, mobile, or embedded SDKs for documentation purposes
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about digital mapping or location technology
