Job Summary
Supporting federal IT systems development, the remote Documentation Specialist will manage and govern technical, operational, and program documentation while ensuring compliance with federal standards and maintaining documentation quality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage program documentation repositories, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Create operational workflows, standard operating procedures, and maintain runbooks and operational support procedures
- Document CI/CD pipeline processes and support contract deliverables and governance documentation
Required qualifications
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Tier-3 Secret Clearance
- 5-7 years of experience in configuration management and technical documentation
- Experience with configuration management principles and tools, including Git
- Knowledge of federal standards and processes
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar documentation tools
