DoD Licensed Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support a large-scale digital modernization program for the DoD, the full-time Principal Solutions Architect will drive innovation and efficiency, working remotely while traveling to the Reston, VA headquarters as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the DEIM Chief Engineer in identifying service gaps and driving continual innovation to evolve DoDNet
• Lead analysis of alternatives and proof-of-concept development for implementing approved improvements
• Document and present analysis results to stakeholders through engineering review boards

Required qualifications

• BS degree and 12+ years of relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure and solutions architecture
• 8+ years of experience architecting enterprise workloads on AWS or Azure
• Active DoD Secret clearance required
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required at time of hire
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures
