DoD Product Owner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Owner (SME - Software Product Management Lead) to oversee product strategy and Agile development for a defense-related software system.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of the product roadmap for the DCIPS Future across various phases
• Translate mission requirements into actionable Epics, user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with military stakeholders to ensure alignment of business rules and operational expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent technical field
• Minimum of 12 years of senior-level DoD software architecture and development experience
• At least 9 years of experience in end-to-end iterative software development and product release management
• Demonstrated expertise in defining and prioritizing Epics and user stories based on user research and business needs
