Donor Engagement Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Donor Engagement Specialist for a remote/hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locating and contacting donors on the NMDP registry, engaging donors, and coordinating donor health screening
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with donor operations, donor center staff, and external vendors
- Participating in team operations, maintaining knowledge of HLA and blood stem cell transplantation, and adhering to regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a health care related field, or equivalent related experience
- Three plus years of experience in communication, customer relations, or coaching individuals
- Experience with basic word processing and data entry
- Familiarity with medical terminology and health screening preferred
- Experience in a target-driven sales environment and familiarity with social media applications
