Drafting Specialist
Job Summary
Producing conceptual design packages for a fast-paced portfolio of EV charging and battery energy storage projects, the full-time remote Drafting Specialist will create site layouts, support external design partners, and maintain CAD standards while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Set up project design templates and produce conceptual site layouts that identify equipment configurations
- Review output from external drafting partners to ensure quality and drive the volume of completed layouts
- Maintain CAD standards, title blocks, and design package templates for consistency across projects
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in drafting, design, engineering technology, or a related field, or 3+ years of directly related professional drafting experience
- Expertise in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce site layouts and civil/electrical drawing packages accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering standards-compliant drawings on tight timelines
- Familiarity with project management and drawing package review software (Procore, Bluebeam) and GIS data
