Drainage Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drainage Engineer II to support various road and highway projects across the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and supervises engineering products to meet customer quality requirements, including defining problems, establishing work scope, and preparing budgets
• Produces detailed calculations, drawings, technical reports, and analyses for drainage and irrigation designs
• Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers working on projects

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5 years or more of related work experience with road and highway drainage design, preferably with state DOT projects
• EIT certification is required
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software is required
• Experience with hydraulic modeling programs and obtaining stormwater permits is essential
