Drainage Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drainage Engineer II to work remotely on various road and highway design projects across the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and supervises engineering products to meet customer quality requirements, including defining problems and preparing budgets and schedules
• Produces detailed calculations, drawings, technical reports, and analyses related to drainage and irrigation designs
• Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers, and may supervise project teams or specific disciplines

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5 years or more of relevant experience in road and highway drainage design, preferably with state DOT projects
• EIT certification is required
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software is required
• Experience with hydraulic modeling programs such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Bentley software is essential
